Term and Conditions
Funded places
Parents may choose any combination of the sessions available to suit their child’s needs. We allow parents to use up to a maximum of 6 hours per day funding. We currently do not accept funding over the lunchtime session for all 3/4 year funded children.
Children over three, who are eligible for the Early Year’s Foundation Stage Grant, may take their entitlement for up to 15 hours per week, up to 38 weeks of the year. Information on the 30 hours funding and tax free childcare can be found on the government website, www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. Families will need to check for eligibility and bring in their code the term before starting in order to access this funding. We are only able to offer a limited number of places for those children wanting to claim for the 30hours. We are also registered for the funded 2 year old programme, please ask for more details.
Early year’s pupil funding is available to some families and is used to provide extra support for the learning of your child. Please ensure you read the information and complete all the sections of the Parental declaration form so we can see if you are eligible.
It remains parents’ responsibility to ensure all codes and forms are submitted in time to avoid being invoiced for sessions booked. All children who claim for funding will be asked to complete a parent declaration form and this contract with Cheshire east council is an addition to the pre-schools terms and conditions.
Fees
Fees are payable monthly on the 1st of each month and in advance of your sessions, wherever possible we would prefer this to be paid via BACS. The pre-school will withdraw your place if payment is late and reminders have to be sent out more than twice in any year. Please note regular late payments may result in a £50 fine. If you are having difficulty with the cost of fees you can speak to the manager privately about paying in instalments or switch to funded only sessions. Please note we do not charge for the school holiday periods and operate on a 38 week term. Any bank holidays/training days that fall within the term are charged at the standard rate.
Please note school lunches will be invoiced separately to your fees and will be given out at the beginning of each half term.
Absence/closures
If the setting has to close due to circumstances that are out of our control or If your child is absent (illness/holiday) from Pre School please note all fees still stand and unfortunately we are not able to offer alternative sessions to make up lost time unless otherwise agreed by the manager.
Notice to leave
One month’s calendar notice is required for
termination of a placement until this date you will be liable for all fees.
Notice must be given in writing to the manager - manager@alderleyedgepreschool.com
Arrival and collection
All children are expected to be dropped off and collected during the set times
set out by the pre-school, unless otherwise organised with the manager. Should
the named adult be late for collection (after 3.15 or 12:15pm) then you will be
charged at a rate of £5 for every 5 minutes they are left in our care, unless
it is in an emergency situation where the person in charge should be notified
as soon as possible. Charges are made at the discretion of the manager.
Families should be aware that should a child remain uncollected after this time, and no message is received from parents, then the Social Service team, is contacted for advice.
All parents are asked to read and sign a copy of our terms and conditions as part of the application process to join our setting
